Research Interests
  • ATRP (atom transfer radical polymerization) and RAFT (reversible addition fragmentation process) for the preparation of well-defined polymer architectures such as star polymers, comb polymers or block copolymers for different applications:
    • Preparation of honeycomb structured porous films for membranes and as cell-growth substrate
    • Stimuli-responsive and biocompadible block copolymers for biomedical application
    • Self-organizing polymers with light emitting sequences as material for nanotechnology
  • Polymers with incorporated coordination compounds suitable for carrier membranes and controlled drug release tors
