| | Research Interests | Professor Rose Amal has been involved in the area of particle technology for over 10 years. During the last 5 years, she has undertaken extensive research into fine particle aggregation, photocatalysis and more recently, nano-particle synthesis and their applications. She has also applied her expertise on characterisation of particle microproperties as well as particle macroproperties in relation to the solid-liquid separation technologies.
She has secured a large number of external grants from sources including the Australian Research Council (ARC), CRC-Waste Management and Pollution Control (WMPC), Environmental Trust Funds and the Sugar Research Development Corporation (SRDC). The total funding amassed has exceeded $4million.
She has published over 120 refereed papers and has strong links with various industry members and public sectors.
